Compilation of Poems

8th grade students' work at the culmination of their Poetry Unit and on the eve of confinement.

Writing Contest in Third Grade

Third grade has been busy developing their writing skills!  After we read the story of "Dogzilla", the children were asked to come up with their own stories of a creature/monster who comes out of nowhere to destroy a peaceful city and bother its inhabitants.  Young authors used their imagination and came up with fantastic ideas.

Elementary school assembly

At elementary school assembly, Kg had a presentation about a seed and how it needs water, air, and the sun as friends to grow. IXL awards were also given out to students who have performed excellently in mastering grade level skills.

Science Fair

AISB had its 2nd edition of the Science Fair on Wednesday March 4, 2020. Students were encouraged to come up with a good question and hypothesis, research, plan, collect data, analyze, write a report and create a display board for the Fair. Many hands on experiments were conducted and lots of learning and fun projects characterized the fair.

American School of Dubai Model United Nations (ASDMUN)

AISB students participated in the American School of Dubai Model United Nations (ASDMUN) conference from February 25- March 1, 2020. MUN is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy,  international relations, and the United Nations. It involves and teachers participants speaking g, debating, writing skills and engaged students to develop  a deeper understanding of current world issues.
