Elementary school assembly

At elementary school assembly, Kg had a presentation about a seed and how it needs water, air, and the sun as friends to grow. IXL awards were also given out to students who have performed excellently in mastering grade level skills.

Science Fair

AISB had its 2nd edition of the Science Fair on Wednesday March 4, 2020. Students were encouraged to come up with a good question and hypothesis, research, plan, collect data, analyze, write a report and create a display board for the Fair. Many hands on experiments were conducted and lots of learning and fun projects characterized the fair.

American School of Dubai Model United Nations (ASDMUN)

AISB students participated in the American School of Dubai Model United Nations (ASDMUN) conference from February 25- March 1, 2020. MUN is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy,  international relations, and the United Nations. It involves and teachers participants speaking g, debating, writing skills and engaged students to develop  a deeper understanding of current world issues.

Spring Fete Bazaar

It was a spectacular Talent Show and Spring Bazaar at AISB on February 22. There were lots of fun activities. We want to use this opportunity to thank those from the community who showed up. Lots of sponsors made the day super duper. There were many happy winners of prizes for the raffle draw from Ragec, Supreme, Royal Spice, Park n Shop, Mie d'Ange, Radisson Blu, etc etc. We are thankful for their generous sponsorship.

Black History

February marks Black History Month. AISB students recited poems, read profiles, sang and acted skits. This was used as an opportunity to instill in students, a sense of self-esteem and pride in who they are. To be proud of their nationalities and believe in themselves as well as draw inspiration from the achievements of African Americans who thrived in spite of their challenges and adverse conditions.
