Students enjoyed 100th day activities. The elementary students were split into two groups. They had an arts and craft time and physical activity time. They enjoyed making crowns for the day, team relays, adding to 100, and snacks. They also dressed up as though they were 100 years old! They were very creative.

We stopped to think and reflect on all the things we sometimes take for granted and were thankful for them. The Student Council organized a Thanksgiving feast for the school and there was so much to eat and drink as one AISB family. Happy Thanksgiving!
The First Quarter Awards for excellent academic performance and behavior ceremony was highly attended. Several students also received awards for outstanding performance in the Fall 2019 session of the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test. In secondary school, students received Honor Roll and High Honor Roll awards for distinguishing themselves academically.
Parental involvement children's education is a primordial responsibility that AISB seeks to encourage. On November 7 and 8, there were student-led conferences in which students took ownership of their learning and walked their parents through their work and progress at school with the guidance of their teachers.
